Endure for a Cure. One brutal triathlon to raise funds for neuroendocrine cancer.
In August 2025, I’ll attempt the world’s toughest endurance triathlon — the Arch to Arc — a solo race from London to Paris involving a 140km run, a swim across the English Channel, and a 291km bike ride to the Arc de Triomphe. It’s a brutal, lonely challenge that only a handful of people have ever completed. I’ve trained for months, mostly alone, pushing myself through long days, cold swims, and endless kilometres — because this isn’t just a race for me. It’s personal.
I’m doing this in honour of my mum, who passed away from neuroendocrine cancer in 2021. This little known and often misdiagnosed disease affects thousands of Australians every year, yet most people - including many health care professionals have never heard of it. Like so many others with this cancer, Mum’s symptoms were missed for far too long. I’m racing to help change that.
All the money raised will go to the NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia to help funds for support of NET patients and education of health care professionals, so patients are diagnosed earlier.
