I’m marching towards a brighter future for people living with neuroendocrine cancer!

This March I’m walking to raise funds for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia (NECA) and all Australians living with neuroendocrine cancer, Australia’s 7th most diagnosed cancer.


NECA is the only Australian not-for-profit medical charity dedicated to neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Their commitment to assisting patients, raising awareness, advocating for new treatments, and supporting Australian research is crucial.

This March I’m joining forces with other Australians to support the 31,000+ people living with NETs in our country.

Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of NET patients and work towards a brighter future.

Why we are doing this 🤍

Saturday 28th Feb

Mackenzie and I are fundraising for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia and this one is incredibly personal to us.


I have been living with NeuroEndocrine cancer since I was 14 years old. In 2018, I had an 8cm tumour surgically removed in a full resection. Now, I am still being closely monitored for a 1cm tumour in my neck.


It took 4.5 years for doctors to find my tumour and to understand why I was so sick. The average time to diagnose NeuroEndocrine cancer in Australia is 5 years. That is five years of symptoms, fear, and not having answers.


NeuroEndocrine cancer is actually one of the more common cancers, but it is rarely the first thing doctors think of. That delay in awareness and diagnosis changes lives.


We are raising money to help fund research, improve early detection, and increase awareness so that other families do not have to wait years for answers like we did.
