I've created this page for our community event.



Hi everyone,


I am raising money for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia.


This year, my sister is running the Gold Coast Marathon in support of NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia.


This cause is particularly meaningful to our family following my diagnosis with a Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) last year. I was incredibly fortunate that it was detected early and could be completely removed through surgery.


Prior to my diagnosis, neuroendocrine cancer was not something I had ever heard of which is why raising awareness is so important to me. Greater awareness can help people recognise symptoms earlier, seek appropriate medical care, and ultimately improve outcomes for those affected.


By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia continue its important work in raising awareness, supporting patients and families, and advocating for greater understanding of this often-overlooked disease.
