I’m marching towards a brighter future for people living with neuroendocrine cancer!
This March I’m walking to raise funds for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia (NECA) and all Australians living with neuroendocrine cancer, Australia’s 7th most diagnosed cancer.
NECA is the only Australian not-for-profit medical charity dedicated to neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Their commitment to assisting patients, raising awareness, advocating for new treatments, and supporting Australian research is crucial.
This March I’m joining forces with other Australians to support the 25,550+ people living with NETs in our country.
Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of NET patients and work towards a brighter future.

Why I’m marching
Friday 1st Mar I’m marching4nets in the hope that I will raise awareness of this little known illness and that the money raised will help NECA educate doctors so that less people end up in the same predicament as me. Despite seeing many doctors it took over 5 years to get a diagnosis. When I was diagnosed I was already stage 4 and already had heart damage. I was frail emaciated and suffering from malnutrition. The last few years have been difficult to say the least. I have had multiple surgeries, including a bowel resection and open heart surgery to replace my pulmonary and tricuspid valves. I have very bad carcinoid syndrome and have to micromanage my life. Things like eating the wrong thing and even stress have the potential to make me sick I continue with treatment and I look a lot better but I will never be cured. I’m asking people to educate themselves about this cancer and if possible sponsor me in the hope it will help someone else in the future. Chrisxxx ShareThank you to my Sponsors
