I’m marching towards a brighter future for people living with neuroendocrine cancer!
This March, I am walking & cycling to raise funds for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia - NECA and all Australians living with neuroendocrine cancer, Australia’s 7th most diagnosed cancer. I was diagnosed in November 2023 with NETs. There are 31,000 known patients & the diagnoses are increasing weekly.
In 2 years & 3 months, I have endeavoured to be educated in my space & proactive in my focus & approach to my health & wellbeing. I advocate at every opportunity for NECA & in support of our NEC/NETs' community within Australia. A c-space as I call it, affects every single dimension of a patient's life, no matter which way you choose to look at it. We need assistance to elevate awareness & distribute the support in every way possible & directly to our patients, carers, supporters, practitioners, clinicians & medical & holistic healing networks.
I started my 1st fundraising campaign in March 2025, so I am now adding cycling to my walking efforts in March 2026, as I bought a vintage bike last year, to enjoy one of my childhood capers again & to keep moving forward!
