Join us in supporting NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia in memory of my beloved mother, Kathy, who bravely battled neuroendocrine cancer (NET) for 13 years. Despite her own struggles, Kathy dedicated herself to raising funds and awareness for research, early detection, and support for those living with NETs.

Neuroendocrine cancer is characterised by the development of tumours in neuroendocrine cells, affecting vital bodily functions. Unfortunately, limited government funding hinders progress in research and finding a cure, leaving patients and their families relying on community support.

NETs can affect anyone, often being misdiagnosed as other conditions like anxiety, menopause, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), or diabetes. Shockingly, half of all patients initially receive a misdiagnosis, leading to late-stage cancer diagnoses for 60%, drastically limiting treatment options.

With limited resources and research, patients often feel lost in their journey, lacking essential information about their condition.

To honour Kathy's legacy and what would have been her 70th birthday, we're hosting a cocktail party fundraiser in Adelaide on Saturday, June 29th. Let's continue Kathy's incredible work and acknowledge her significant contribution to this cause.
