I’m marching towards a brighter future for people living with neuroendocrine cancer!

This March I’m walking to raise funds for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia (NECA) and all Australians living with neuroendocrine cancer, Australia’s 7th most diagnosed cancer.


NECA is the only Australian not-for-profit medical charity dedicated to neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Their commitment to assisting patients, raising awareness, advocating for new treatments, and supporting Australian research is crucial.

This March I’m joining forces with other Australians to support the 29,350+ people living with NETs in our country.

Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of NET patients and work towards a brighter future.

This uncommon cancer is one that mimic's so many different everyday conditions, like IBS, Diverticulitis, etc., and is found in so many parts of the body. 
I was diagnosed nearly 12 months ago by pure accident. I have been blessed to have had awesome medical peeps treating me and explaining things to me, and have the fantastic support of my partner, families and friends.
Unfortunately, this cancer is mostly treatable but not curable and treatment can constantly change as it can stop helping and it can start to appear in areas it had not been found.
So, let’s help get some awareness out there, which will aid in some serious research happening to help find better treatments, and hopefully a cure.
Timely for March4Nets and to help my body deal with the treatment side effects,  I'm aiming for 100kms - those who know me... I'm pretty sure I can do it.
